❤️ Choosing a kitten is choosing a companion for life ❤️
I know how difficult it can be to choose a kitten.
You are not choosing a kitten for a week or two. You are choosing a little soul who may be part of your life for 15, 18 or even 20 years. I have been on the other side of that decision myself, and I know how much you want to feel that you are making the right choice.
After several years of breeding British Shorthairs, I have realised that there is something I value even more than certificates, registrations or beautiful looks: the personality and emotional wellbeing of the kitten.
Of course, health, responsible breeding and proper care are extremely important. But I believe that there is another part of raising a kitten that can sometimes be overlooked — love and early socialisation.
British Shorthairs are often described as independent cats. From my experience, they certainly can be calm and self-contained. But I have also observed how much their early experiences with people can influence how confident and affectionate they become.
This is why my kittens are raised very differently.
They are not simply born, fed and left to grow until they are old enough to leave.
They are part of my everyday life from the very beginning.
My queens give birth in my bedroom, and the kittens grow up surrounded by my presence, my voice, my touch and my affection. They are cuddled, spoken to, gently handled and loved every single day.
They even sleep in my bed with me from the very beginning. ❤️
This is something that became very important to me because, when I first started breeding, I wanted something very specific: affectionate British Shorthairs who genuinely enjoy human companionship.
Some of the British Shorthairs I brought into my breeding programme were beautiful and wonderful cats, but they were not as affectionate as I had hoped.
And I remember thinking:
“If I ever have kittens of my own, I want to give them the affection and human connection that I always wished for in my own cats.”
That promise became part of the way I breed.
I spend time with them. I talk to them. I cuddle them. I let them be close to me. I watch their individual personalities develop and I give them the attention they need.
I believe that a kitten’s first weeks are not only about physical growth. They are also about learning that humans are safe, loving and trustworthy.
🍽️ Nutrition is also very important to me.
The kittens are carefully introduced to high-quality food as they grow, starting with Royal Canin Mother & Babycat and progressing to a varied, quality diet including brands such as Orijen, KatKin, Scrambles and Lily’s Kitchen, depending on their age and individual needs.
💉 Regarding vaccinations
I have personally chosen not to vaccinate my kittens before they leave for their new homes. This is a personal decision based on my own experiences and beliefs regarding vaccination.
I would rather give the new owner the opportunity to discuss vaccination with their own vet and make an informed decision for their kitten, because once that little one goes home, you are the person who will know them, love them and make those decisions for their life.
I will always be completely transparent about what the kitten has and has not received, so that you can make the decision that feels right for you and your family.
For me, breeding is not simply about producing kittens.
It is about bringing a little life into the world and giving that kitten the best possible beginning.
❤️ My greatest wish is that when one of my kittens leaves my home, they don’t just leave healthy and beautiful — they leave knowing what love feels like.
And I hope that love follows them into their new homes.♥️
✨ A Little Message from Us, the Kittens:
Hello, future family! 🐾
We came into this world just after midnight on 7th July—a date many believe marks a unique energy portal, making our arrival feel a little extra magical. Maybe that’s why we’re such special little souls… sent to bring love, comfort, and joy to the people we’re meant to find.
We truly believe that every heart has its perfect match. If, while reading this, you feel that one of us is meant to be part of your journey through this beautiful life on Earth, then perhaps we have already found each other.
For now, we’re growing stronger every day, surrounded by endless love. The wonderful human who helped our mummy safely bring us into the world has been caring for us every single second since the day we were born. She makes sure we are healthy, happy, and ready to begin our next adventure.
When the time is right, we’ll be looking for forever homes filled with love, kindness, and cuddles.
If your heart is telling you that one of us belongs with you, we’d love to hear from you. ❤️
With tiny paws and lots of purrs,
