Description
Due to a change in circumstances, I am looking for the right forever experienced home for my 1-year-old male Doberman.
He is a loving, affectionate boy who enjoys nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa and sleeping with his legs in the air. He is very loyal to the people he knows and trusts and thrives on companionship.
As he is still young, he will need an owner who is willing to continue his training and provide consistent boundaries. He can pull on the lead when walking and his recall is currently only reliable with people he has built a strong relationship with. For this reason, he should not be let off lead until trust and a bond have been established.
He is fully intact.
He is generally good with other dogs, but if a dog gets in his face too quickly or is overly pushy, he will let them know he is uncomfortable.
I am looking for a home without children. He can be boisterous, jumps up when excited so an adult-only home would be most suitable.
This is a very difficult decision, and finding the right home is far more important than finding a quick home. He will only be rehomed to someone who understands the Doberman breed and can provide the time, training, exercise, and affection he deserves.
