Unfortunately having to rehome our dachshund.
He doesn’t like being left alone which is a main factor in him being rehomed as I am due to go back to work after maternity leave. He also keeps trying to eat our rabbits and doesn’t get along with the cats and it’s very hard to keep them separated.
He has been brought up around children and another dog. He is fully house trained but has, on occasion, had the odd accident.
He is very greedy. We have him on a slow feeder at the moment but he still waffles food down.
He loves his long walks.
He needs to go to someone who has the time to stay with him and he could do with some additional training, and someone with good knowledge of the breed.
He is health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, fleas & wormed.

Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
