Description

Wolfie is a truly special boy - a gentle, resilient survivor with a heart of gold. Found as a stray and badly injured after being attacked by other dogs, he sadly lost one eye… but that moment changed his life for the better. It brought him to safety, to care, and now - to the chance of a loving home. 🌟 Wolfie’s Personality Despite everything he has been through, Wolfie remains a kind, steady, and loyal boy. He has a calm, soulful look about him and forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. He is gentle, affectionate, and enjoys being close to his humans. 🐕 What Kind of Dog Is Wolfie? Wolfie appears to be a mix of **German Shepherd**, **Husky**, and possibly **Nordic spitz-type shepherd dog**. His wolfy colouring, upright ears, compact build, and expressive face all point toward a northern-herding ancestry. He is medium-sized, sturdy, agile, and very smart. 🏡 The Home He Needs Wolfie would thrive in a calm, patient home with people who understand rescue dogs and their emotional needs. He is not demanding and doesn’t need high-intensity exercise — he simply wants companionship and security. A home with experience of timid or previously mistreated dogs would be ideal. 👁️ Living With One Eye Wolfie manages beautifully with just one eye. He moves confidently, navigates his surroundings well, and enjoys his walks like any other dog. He simply needs a gentle approach when touched from his blind side. 🩺 Health, Care & Support Wolfie is fully vaccinated, neutered (or will be before adoption), and treated for parasites. He comes with full Rescue Backup. Friends inDeed can also provide: • A Behaviour Management Guide • A Decompression Plan for settling in • Ongoing advice whenever you need it ❤️ A Second Chance He Truly Deserves Wolfie has known fear, pain, loneliness - and yet he still chooses love. All he wants now is a safe home where he can finally relax, trust, and belong. If you can offer Wolfie the stable, caring home he deserves, he will repay you with quiet loyalty, gentle affection, and a lifetime of gratitude.
