🐶 REHOMING — NALA
This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. Rehoming Nala is absolutely not something we want to do, but we have been left with no choice.
but if it weren’t for having my children to think of, I would be choosing homelessness before being parted from my animals — that’s how much they mean to us.
💙 About Nala:
✅ Healthy, fully spayed, and up to date with all care
✅ Full of energy and always ready for fun
✅ People-friendly: Never aggressive towards anyone — she’s a total softie, loves sofa cuddles and will happily sleep in your bed given half the chance!
✅ Walking: Brilliant on the lead; we only use a harness, and she walks beautifully
✅ Recall: Will come back when called, but only reliably for me personally — I rarely let her off lead because she gets distracted easily
✅ Water lover: Absolutely obsessed — she will literally cry if you don’t get the hose out for her! 😆
⚠️ Important details:
• She is very strong-willed and stands her ground
• I can’t be 100% sure how she’d be with other female dogs — she has shown dominance/aggression towards females in the past, so we haven’t let her mix with them since
• She should be fine with male dogs, provided introductions are done slowly and correctly
• If left inside alone for too long, she may occasionally have an accident — so she needs someone who can let her out regularly
🎁 What she comes with:
Everything she owns — bed, leads, harness, toys, bowls, blankets, and all her paperwork.
Please don’t ask me to go into more detail about our situation — it is heartbreaking enough having to make this decision, and I already feel like I’m letting my daughter down. We have explored every possible option, but this really is our only way forward.
We are looking for a calm, experienced home where she will be understood and given the structure she needs. She deserves someone who can appreciate her personality and love her just as much as we do.
If you feel you could offer Nala her perfect forever home, please send me a message.
Thank you for reading 🤍
I personally don't want to rehome her locally (in Blackpool) as it would be way to upsetting to see her so if anyone knows anyone please let me know💙🫶🏻
