Description
Teddy is my 10 year old Toy Poodle. He's been with me since he was 8 weeks old.
This is heartbreaking for me because Teddy is such a loving and loyal companion. He will always be near you and wants cuddles and affection.
Ever since he came into my life he's been an anxious dog. This shows itself with his need to be close. I struggled to groom him, it was too stressful for him to go to a grooming parlour and it was nearly impossible to clip his nails. This has resulted in his nails to be longer than normal.
I've been able to cope but as he gets older he's not getting on with my 14 year old Chihuahua, Jake. He wants my attention and begrudges Jake any. I have a female four year old Mini Dachshund and Teddy seems ok with her. I have to ensure both Teddy and Jake are happy and I think Teddy will be happy finding another loving home which would allow Jake to be happy living out the rest of his time.
I believe Teddy would be much happier in an environment where he's the only companion. Jake my Chihuahua has a severe heart murmur whereas Teddy is healthy for a 10 year old.
Teddy loves me so much and I know that he'll miss me but if there is someone who would like a senior dog who is gentle, loving and healthy and would give you absolute loyalty, then please contact me where I'll be happy to answer any questions.
Teddy is up to date with his boosters and I think he has a good few years left.
I'm asking for a nominal payment only to put off time wasters.
