Description

Pidge is a sweet, playful and funny girl around 2 years old who is desperate for a loving home. I wish I could keep her, she's such a perfect cat, but sadly my older cat wants to be a solo kitty and apparently doesn't like other cats. Not much is known about Pidge’s start in life. At around 9 months old, she was living in a shed and when her “owner” found she was pregnant they dumped her. She was rescued and was spayed, microchipped, flead and wormed. I adopted her at this point about 9 months ago, and i've tried to get my cat to accept her but I have to accept Pidge deserves a better home. Pidge has a great temperament; she is affectionate and playful and never scratches or bites. She loves company, and wants to be around humans as much as possible. She enjoys affection, particularly chin and tummy scratches, and needs daily playtime as she has plenty of energy. She is a bit "dopey", she's not the smartest cat bless her, she's been known to roll off beds and sofas when she's blissed out from belly rubs! She's really funny in her habits. She also likes being around other cats and wants to play with them a lot throughout the day. If she is to live with another cat it would need to be another playful cat! Pidge has a good appetite and eats any cat food on offer. She much prefers wet food to dry food but will eat eitither. She is litter trained and have never had any accidents. She's been checked by the vet a couple of months ago and is completely healthy. She has no difficult behaviours. I'm looking for a home for where she will not spend much time alone, with a family willing to spend time giving her affection and consistent playtime. It’s not known how she manages around children or dogs, but she is very gentle and social so i'd be surprised if this were a problem. She has been living indoors for the past 12 months, she has seemed fearful of going outdoors but this may change in the right environment. If she is to go outside this would be best in an enclosed area. She is a very special and loving cat who I care about very much so i'm keen for her to not go just anywhere. I'd like anyone interested in adopting her to meet her first to make sure she's a good fit for you. She is free to the right home. Thank you for considering adopting Pidge!
