Description
Sherlock is a striking four-year-old, white Standard Poodle seeking a knowledgeable and loving forever home.
He is an exceptionally healthy young male with no known allergies or medical issues.
His veterinary history is clear, and he is routinely wormed every three months with regular preventative flea treatment. He is not castrated.
Sherlock is in excellent physical condition and enjoys a structured routine. He is exercised twice daily, benefiting from an hour’s walk or run in the morning and again in the evening. He maintains good recall within enclosed areas, has a low prey drive, and shows little interest in birds or other wildlife.
He walks beautifully on the lead and prefers to stay close to his handler.
In the home, Sherlock is affectionate, loyal, and people-focused. He enjoys close companionship, interactive play, and relaxing near his family. He sleeps calmly through the night on his own bed and is fully crate trained.
As a young and playful Standard Poodle, he has a joyful and lively nature. He can occasionally be exuberant, as expected for a young male of his breed, but responds well to clear guidance and structure.
Grooming is one of his strengths — he is exceptionally well behaved on the grooming table and accustomed to regular coat care.
Sherlock would thrive as the only dog in a calm and structured household. He is best suited to an experienced owner familiar with the Standard Poodle breed or confident with large, intelligent dogs who require both mental and physical engagement.
He is a magnificent representative of the breed — athletic, affectionate, and devoted — and will make an outstanding companion in the right home.
