Description

Nutmeg is our working strain fox red labrador, she is flea/wormed to date, microchipped, fully health tested with fantastic results, kennel club registered and fully vaccinated to date. Nutmeg is booked in for her spay this end with my vets, so no breeders need apply! Nutmeg can be a submissive and a little timid labrador at times so id like a quite setting for her. She is and has been gunshy at a young age and just likes a relaxed chilled life, shes always back of the pack and doesn't like to be mithered bless her. She is really so full of love and would lie by you all day for belly rubs and fuss! Nutmeg has had 3 healthy litters to date and was naturally a caring and a great mother. We do not normally breed from a non- forward going type however nutmeg is our third generation here, with impeccable looks- fantastic full health tests and a great temperament, we bred from her for more-so pethomes, and we did exactly right in doing so- her offspring are doing exceptionally well in active home settings and have trained well. We breed for health and great temperament here- hence keeping her line going. We have run two of Nutmegs last offspring for working- they are now a year and a half old even though more slightly laid back are doing great in training, learning well, extremely soft mouthed and very keen to please. We do not over breed our girls here. The reason for our retired girls and rehomes is because we simply cant keep them all, its sad for us as our girls are just wonderful. If we had enough space in our home we would keep every single one of them- but it becomes impossible at times. ❤️ Nutmeg is nearly 5 years old, she is a medium type labrador. She is very much used to being offlead here so will need some time and effort in lead training, we are very fortunate to have 2 acres of garden area and 4 acres of thick woodland we walk twice daily in a pack that Nutmeg loves to explore with us, its soon picked up, shes an intelligent girl who is submissive and kind. She loves fuss and attention in general and would give the right family all the love in the world. I am looking for a full retiring home. I am specifically looking for active older couple to be able to give our girl all the time in the world. Nutmeg is an absolute pleasure to own, a happy girl with lots of love to give. No full time workers or young children please. She will not be 'pestered'. Our girls are used to being kenneled, however will quickly adapt into their new one to one homes giving that the owners are at home as do all my retired girls. They have their litters in our family home setting with no mess and access to our garden frequently throughout the day, we are very fortunate to be at home all day to give our dogs all the love and attention they need and this would be expected in her new home. 🐾 Nutmeg is young enough to adapt quickly, hence rehoming at a middle age. She loves her two walks daily and as soon as she gets to know you she loves cuddles and love. She loves toys and ball play. This is a home she will need, to then bond with an older couple/active who have the time for her. She is good with other dogs too of all sizes. I would much prefer her to be the only dog so she gets the one to one she deserves in retired life. She has never seen cats or livestock. I am extremely proud to say i bred nutmeg, her mother, and formally owned her grandmother who started my kennels here. I also own her sire who is now retired and lives on our sofa! He is here to meet also.🎖 I am in no rush to find her the the best forever home, this is an extremely hard decision, Its hard enough. Please do read the above, I am not looking for timewasters or dreamers, or picture collectors, this is being taken seriously as I am a five star licensed breeder and will not allow my girl to just go anywhere.
