Description
Ziggy is a 1 year old chocolate dachshund. He came from a farm from working parents a few months ago. Please WhatsApp on ************ for anything. I thought he would be best friends with my older dog and my son but as time goes on it’s just proving he isn’t the right fit for our family. He does love other dogs but mine has started getting very sick of him and how ever much he loves my son he’s constantly knocking him over I’ve tried multiple things. He’s crate trained but also does have some separation issues when I go to bath or take my child bed. He needs some training and someone who can give him full attention. He’s a very happy dog he loves everyone he meets although from coming from the farm he does take a while to interact properly. He’s house trained but still need a little work when he’s overly excited. He will make the most caring dog for someone with children older than toddlers and preferably no cats as he does like to chase but doesn’t harm them. I just want to find the home that suits him best

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
