Description
Rhubarb is a beautiful pedigree British Shorthair girl who was originally intended for our breeding programme. However, it became clear that she would be much happier in a quieter home environment rather than a busy cattery setting.
She has a gentle, affectionate nature and forms a strong bond with her person. Once she feels safe, she is incredibly sweet, enjoys attention, and will happily keep you company throughout the day.
Rhubarb would be best suited to a calm, peaceful home where she can settle at her own pace. She can be sensitive to busy or noisy environments, so an adult-only home, or one without young children, would suit her best.
Ideally, she would be the only cat in the home, or possibly live with one other calm and respectful cat, with slow and careful introductions.
She has recently been spayed and is recovering well. She will need a little time to fully heal before leaving, so this will not be a rushed placement. She is looking for a patient, understanding owner who can give her the time and space she needs to fully relax and thrive. She would particularly suit someone who understands that some cats need a little time and patience to show their true personality.
This is a very special girl who just needs the right environment to come into her own.
We are in no rush and will be prioritising a home that truly understands and meets her needs.
