Enzo is an 8month old male Belgian Malinois looking for a new home that can provide the time, structure and lifestyle he needs to continue thriving. He is a bright, energetic and driven young dog with a fantastic work ethic. He has strong food and ball drive, enjoys training and has already started bitework. He has a good foundation in obedience and directional work and genuinely enjoys having a job to do. Enzo has made great progress with his general training. He previously struggled around moving traffic, bikes and cars, becoming overly excited and sometimes redirecting his frustration. With clear communication, structure and consistent training, he can now remain in position around traffic and recall away when asked. He is, however, a very boisterous young Malinois and is still very much a youngster. He needs an experienced owner who understands high -drive working breeds and is prepared to continue his training rather than expecting a finished dog. Enzo would be best suited to a working -dog or active adult home, ideally with someone who enjoys training and wants to develop his potential. He would benefit from structured exercise, obedience, scent work, bitework or another suitable activity, rather than simply being treated as a pet who needs a few walks each day. Due to his energy and intensity, a home with no young children is preferred. A single-dog home would be ideal, although the right experienced home with another suitable dog could be considered following careful introduce. Enzo is not being rehomed because he is a bad dog. He is a lovely, affectionate and enthusiastic young dog with a lot to offer, but I have realised that the lifestyle and training environment I can provide are not the right long-term fit for his needs. He will only be considered for a suitable home. Finding the right person for Enzo is more important than finding him a home quickly. Experienced working-dog homes are encouraged to enquire with details about themselves, their experience and what they would like to do with Enzo
