His story:
Baloo is one of those dogs who capture hearts the moment you meet them. He was rescued from the public shelter/kill station, where such large, gentle souls rarely get a chance to live.
Luckily, he was saved in time and is now safe in the private shelter, where he’s showing everyone just what a wonderful dog he is.
Estimated date of birth: October 2022 – so he’s now about 1 year and 10 months old, a lovely age to continue learning, exploring and bonding with his future family.

🏷 Type: based on appearance, Baloo resembles a Ciobănesc Românesc de Bucovina mix – a loyal, calm and majestic shepherd breed from Romania, known for its devotion and gentle temperament.
Looks & charm:
Baloo is stunning: a strong, noble-looking dog with a soft cream-and-white coat and soulful eyes that radiate kindness. Despite his size, there’s a peaceful gentleness in everything he does.
Character:
Baloo is a true gentle giant – calm, affectionate and social with both people and other dogs. He enjoys company, loves to be touched and spoken to, and has a stable, friendly nature. His carers describe him as a dog who “just wants to love and be loved”.
He’s still young, so he’s curious and willing to learn. With gentle guidance, patience and positive reinforcement, Baloo will flourish into an incredibly loyal and balanced companion.
What he’s looking for:
For Baloo we’re looking for a home with some dog experience, ideally with space and a secure, dog-proof garden where he can move freely and explore safely.
He’ll enjoy walks in nature and time spent close to his people, though he may need a bit of initial training – after all, most of his life so far has been spent in a kennel.
With love, trust and consistent care, Baloo will blossom into the faithful friend he was always meant to be.
Ideal home:
Baloo would suit a calm, loving household where he can be part of everyday life. He’s not a high-energy dog – what he truly needs is affection, companionship and the feeling of belonging.

We do not place dogs with people who do not genuinely love dogs — there are too many lives depending on us, and we cannot be too careful!
To adopt one of our dogs, you must have your own garden and no children under the age of 10.
We do not provide working dogs, service dogs, or assistance dogs — no matter how noble or well-intentioned the purpose may be.
If you adopt BALOO, he will live with you as a beloved family pet, cared for and cherished as he truly deserves.
You also agree to keep in touch with us so that we can assist you with any questions or challenges that might arise.
We prefer to communicate by phone or WhatsApp, as we both work during the day and have limited access to emails.
It’s also much easier — we can exchange all the necessary information at once.
If you wish, we can arrange a video call so you can see BALOO live before meeting him in person.
We are a 100% genuine and transparent rescue, fully dedicated to saving lives.
We are actively involved in spaying and neutering stray dogs and finding them loving homes.
We reserve the right to request a different adoption fee or donation for our shelter dogs, depending on individual circumstances.
In most cases, our costs are not fully covered.
We stay in touch with all our adopters — more than 500 families so far — and can provide excellent references upon request.
