I’ve had him now for just over a year and he’s a lovely sweet boy but I think he had some trauma before I had him he is very scared of people but has grown to me over time, with my husband he was close and now grown apart we got another beautiful conure a few months later and she’s amazing and he hates her chases her off everything and has almost seriously injured her multiple times. Himself as a conure he is a very well behaved boy if he was alone he likes to head bop when he sees u or to music and he’s decently potty trained if u show him the end of a perch he will always go there to make sure he lets one go there rather than everywhere like my other conure and he sleeps on time and eats all his veggies and mixed seeds and pellets I provide him and likes showers but either in a low bowl or in ur hands but not too much water. He also has not reached his hormonal stage so he could be younger than I think. It breaks my heart to get rid of him but it’s the right thing to do for my other conure I believe as a conure by himself he can thrive in the right environment and care as he used to be super scared and now he almost lies in my hands comfortably but I have to take care of my other conure. If you have now taken him and he is too much for him please don’t give him away but give him back to me and I will take care of him or rehome him somewhere else, his welfare is extremely important to me (once you take him you are more than welcome to contact me for any questions and I’d love to make sure he’s okay if you are okay with that) as I care and love for him a lot but my husband and my other conure don’t get along with him as much.
