🌟 It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we are looking for a loving new home for our beautiful boy, Zuko. Zuko is a stunning 5-year-old neutered Ragdoll × Colourpoint with striking blue eyes, a luxurious fluffy coat and the sweetest gentle nature. He is a sensitive, affectionate cat who takes a little time to trust new people, but once he feels safe and settled, he forms a very strong bond with his person and loves spending time close by. Since the arrival of our baby, despite our best efforts, the increased activity and changes within our home have been very difficult for Zuko. After much thought, we have made the heartbreaking decision that he would be much happier in a calm, quiet home where he can feel secure and receive the time and attention he deserves. Please note: Zuko has a stress-related issue with occasional inappropriate urination outside the litter tray. He has been thoroughly assessed by our vet, is otherwise healthy, and is currently receiving anxiety medication, which will be provided to his new owner along with details of his routine. We have found that a calm environment and a consistent routine seem to help him, so we are looking for someone who understands that he may need patience while he settles into his new home. Zuko would ideally be the only pet. Although he has lived with other cats before, he is naturally quite anxious and would thrive in a home where he doesn't have to compete for space or attention. About Zuko: - 5 years old - Neutered - Vet checked and otherwise healthy - Affectionate and loyal once settled - Indoor cat - Best suited to a quiet, adult-only or older-child household - Would benefit from someone with experience of nervous or sensitive cats Zuko is not aggressive—he is simply a gentle, sensitive boy who needs time to feel safe. Once he is comfortable, he is a wonderful companion who enjoys relaxing near his people, watching the world go by, and being part of a peaceful home. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and finding the right home is far more important to us than finding a quick one. We would especially love to hear from people who have experience with anxious cats or behavioural challenges and feel they could offer Zuko the calm, understanding home he deserves. We are happy to answer any questions, share everything we've learned about Zuko's routine and preferences, and provide ongoing support during his transition if helpful.
