Description
Everyone Meet Arlo🤎
Arlo is up for rehoming, we recently rehomed him off of another person due to there circumstances at home, for the first few months he was fine and really really amazing, Due to us having other dogs, one being a larger breed than him, they didn’t get on at all. Arlo is fine with breeds his size as gets along with our female pocket bully and our Shih Tzu however not our older male.
Arlo is a great dog for somebody who has the time and effort to put into him, he is crate trained however would suit a home where the crate is only necessary at night as he does love attention.
He is house trained and does tend to whine when needing the toilet.
Things Arlo needs work on
1. He can recourse guard his food and bones if given bones, so if you have young children make sure he is in a crate when feeding and supervise the children
2. He is a lead puller but he is highly food motivated so with some training he will get there
3. He’s dog selective, as I said previously he gets on with our female pocket bully but not our bigger male bulldog
4. He is quite needy and does whine when in crate due to separation anxiety
5. He is very excitable, and can be quite rough so wouldn’t recommended for somebody with younger children unless they have experience with pocket bully’s and bully breeds.
He is a loving dog and with the time and effort he could be brilliant for someone 🤎 it’ll be sad to see him go but he just needs the time and effort put into him and unfortunately we can’t give him that.
If he does get rehomed he will come with
- crate
- Blankets
- Food
- Food bowls
- Collar, lead and harness
