Hi, we are looking to rehome our lovely beautiful apricot miniature cockerpoo called Lexie.
We've had lexie since she was only a few weeks old. She has grown up wit two of our children that are now 13 and 11. We also have another cockerpoo that she gets along with brilliantly as they have grown up together. We also had a cat called Charlie that Lexie loved to play with but Charlie sadly passed away in January. This seems to have affected Lexie quite abit.
We now also have a 1 year old baby that will not leave poor Lexie alone. She cannot relax or rest due to our baby daughter crawling after her and pulling her fur all the time. This has resulted in Lexie growling whenever our daughter goes near her. But she is fine with the older children.
Lexie loves attention, she loves nothing more than to snuggle down next to you with her head on your lap but due to our change in circumstances she can no longer do this. With so much attention on the new baby, along with our son having learning difficulties and all that this entails, we simply do not have the time any longer to offer Lexie the care and attention she deserves.
Lexie has become anxious which as anyone who know the traits of a poodle will know this is common. She has started to cry when left alone at night (however, she is happy if she is asleep in our bedroom).
Lexie is good on a lead and is fully toilet trained. She is Neutered and never had puppies. She is fully health checked and all clear.
Lexie requires a caring loving owner that can ensure she is the center of attention. Someone who is retired and can ensure shes not left at home for hours on end.
She would be happy alongside another dog.
Please note, she will not slot into busy family life with lots of noise and people coming and going.
