Description
Ghost is a beautiful soul. Very excitable and energetic. Likes to jump up for hugs and kisses. Really enjoys a cuddle. Great with children. My 2 boys have had no problems with him. Very social with other dogs. Loves a sniff and wants to play. Very friendly, likes to say hello to anyone and everyone. He's not dressed, but haven't had any problems with him humping. Not yet anyway.
Ghost hasn't had a very good start in life. I took him in 6 months ago, just as he turned 1. He had no training at all when I took him in. He had no recall and no lead training at all. He wasn't even toilet trained and was doing his business wherever he pleased inside. When I reached out to his previous owners they told me he had a spot in the house for toileting. (WTF?). I'm happy to say that has changed now. His recall is still treat lead, but his responses have improved so much. He doesn't pull on the lead anymore, unless he sees a rabbit before you do. His toilet training is very good now. He never does the toilet in the house anymore.
Here is where things get real. Ghost has severe separation anxiety. If you leave the house for 20 mins to nip to the shop you'll come back to a jobbie. He cannot be left on his own for any length of time. He can be destructive if left for to long. I'm not in a position to take on another dog and I think that's what Ghost needs. I think he would benefit from being a part of a pack, rather than a lone wolf.
I want the very best for Ghost, but anyone willing to take him in should be aware of his quirks.
