Morkies, also known as Malkie, Malki, Maltiyork, Yorkiemalt, Yorktese, are a cross between a Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese. They are a toy breed that was developed in Canada and the United States in the 1990s. Morkies may be small in stature, but they have big personalities and thrive in human company. However, they are better suited to households where the children are older than toddlers.
