Welcome to Bellamar Labradors, a small, dedicated kennel based in Trowell, Nottingham, where Labradors are not just show dogs—they're beloved members of the family. Our journey began with one beautiful puppy named Bella and a rather reluctant Labrador dad (that’s me, Matthew). My wife Bria, a lifelong Labrador lover, finally convinced me to get our first Lab—and it didn’t take long for me to fall head over paws. What started as a single dog quickly turned into a full-blown passion. Bella led us into the world of showing, where we soon found success and community. In 2020, we established Bellamar Labradors—named for our original girls, Bella and Martha—to reflect our growing commitment to the breed. Since then, we’ve shown and bred top-quality Labradors that not only meet the breed standard but thrive in both the show ring and home environment. Our girl Millie (Bellamar Love Me Do JW) was our first Junior Warrant winner and has placed at Crufts, including a 1st in Post Graduate in 2025 and 4th in Junior 2024. We currently have nine Labradors (five black, two chocolate, and two yellow), each raised in our home with love, care, and a whole lot of sofa time. All our dogs are carefully selected and bred for excellent temperament, correct conformation, and beautiful, fluid movement. With over 40 first-place wins at championship level, numerous Best of Breed titles, and Crufts qualifications under our belt, we are proud to contribute to the future of this wonderful breed. Our puppies are raised in a family environment, well-socialised, and given the best possible start in life to become confident companions or promising show prospects.
