Meet Celticmoon

I specialise in my own strain of small lurcher, bred specifically for pet homes or for sports such as agility and flyball, and also the occasional litter of show quality pedigree whippet. I have been involved in loving, breeding and showing sighthounds since 1972 and have shown whippets and deerhounds at Championship level and have also enjoyed showing my lurchers at game fairs and country shows over the years. However, my main love has always been raising top quality puppies and getting to know the new families that they join, with my goal being to produce puppies that are beautiful, have fabulous temperaments and robust good health. Our puppies are raised in our home (no kennels or crates here!!) and are soon integrated into our pack of happy friendly adults. We ensure that all of our puppies are very well socialised and as well as learning doggy body language, they also meet the family cat, hens and donkeys. We teach our puppies basic commands, they are recall trained and are taught bite inhibition. The parents of our puppies are family pets who have wonderful kind, loving temperaments and they are fully DNA health tested. We will always support new owners throughout their dog's life and will always take a dog back should the need arise as stated in our contract of sale. I have dedicated my life to dogs and have been a puppy trainer and canine behaviourist, as well as writing numerous articles for canine publications over the years.
