Craigachan

Craigachan Flat Coated Retrievers is based in a small village just outside Stirling. Our family has owned and loved flatcoats for 3 generations, and I’ve had the privilege of sharing my life with them since I was a teenager. My love of the breed began in childhood with my Gran’s stories of her beloved flat coat Bess, and continued with our first family flatcoat, Cari. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to have many wonderful companions, each one deepening my admiration for the breed’s warmth, intelligence, and happy-go-lucky nature. Our foundation bitch, Talla, produced our very first litter in 2012 — and from her line have come Torsa, Islay, and now Craigachan’s Black Widow (“Mousa”), who continues the Craigachan name into the next generation. We don’t breed often, but when we do, it’s with great care and thought for health, temperament, and type. All our dogs are KC registered and fully health tested, and our puppies are raised in our home and garden, surrounded by everyday life and lots of love. Flatcoats are wonderful companions — loyal, fun, and full of joy. I’m always happy to chat about the breed and to help new families find a puppy that’s the right fit for them.
