This is SPIKEY. He is roughly 4 years old. He is absolutely amazing, tame, healthy and eats well. He loves laying on your chest wrapped like a burrito and in the summer, i got a cat seat for the window with a furry small cat bed on it and he would lounge in it staring out the window or sleeping for ages. He used to sleep with me wrapped up in his special blanket on my double bed( i put a wedge so i couldnt roll on him) and he would sleep til i got up and never got off the bed once. He loves to run around the room and explore then when hes ready he just heads back into his viv. He will head babg the glass ONLY when he needs the loo as he hates going in his enclosure. So i used to get him out then put a pad down for him and clean it away after. He likes his shallow baths too but not for too long.
Unfortunately I am having to sell him due to having dogs now for my son so I can't let him free rein or sleep with me like I used to and feel it's unfair to him in the longrun. Luckily he's been in brumation for the last 3 months nearly but is coming out of it so it's a good time to find him a new forever home. He's also obviously on the skinnier side due to brummation but will be back to normal within the month.
His fave food is Morio worms and locusts. He likes rocket, watercress, kale and baby leaf salad but doesn't like many other veg. He also doesn't like the meal worms or roaches.
He's had the appropriate lighting and heat set up and I dust his greens and feed the worms etc the calcium dust.
He comes with a full enclosure including the UV bulb, heat bulb, hide, heat rocks, branches, fake foliage, desert sand,bridge and hammock. I bought plain 4x2x2white viv, sealed it with aquatic seal and then made the interior myself. It is ready to go so can be taken as it stands. Ideal with Christmas coming up as a gift etc.
It will need 2 people to carry it.
