Our gorgeous litter of Dakota Sport Retriever puppies are available to view now.
Raised in the heart of our busy family home they are used to all the hustle and noise of family life, with children and other dogs too. They have the run of our garden and spend a lot of time outside exploring. These pups are extremely well socialised with plenty of new experiences. They've travelled in vehicles, gone out locally in arms and visit the neighbourhood from the safety of a pram. They have been lovingly handled from day one and are confident, curious and full of potential.
They have been wormed every 2 weeks and will be microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated by the time they are ready to leave at 8 weeks. They will also come with 4 weeks free insurance.
Parents.
Mum, Ember, is a KC registered working cocker spaniel. She is fully DNA tested clear and has clear eye tests and gonioscopy. She is an excellent Mum and had done a wonderful job with these babies.
Dad, Bailey is a deep red working line KC registered Golden Retriever. Fully DNA tested clear, he also has excellent hip and elbow scoring and a clear eye test. He's a loving family pet and a dream to train.

Popular for many years in the USA, Dakotas are increasing in popularity over here. A purpose bred hybrid between a cocker spaniel and a golden retriever they are popular for their versitily, loyalty and intelligence and are known for their friendliness, trainability and desire to please. These dogs just love people and are happiest by your side.
These dogs are working line dogs and so need an active home with people who are willing to train them. They are a pleasure to train as they pick things up quickly and reward you well. They're keen water dogs and love to swim and retrieve. Due to their friendly nature they make excellent family pets.
Homes.
I am looking to place these puppies in active homes where someone is home during the day and the puppy will not be left alone and where there is a secure garden space.
A good understanding of the needs of a working dog is essential. These dogs will need daily exercise and mental stimulation.
Precious experience of a working breed dog is desirable.
