Hi unfortunately I am looking to rehome my two 3 year old chinchillas Layla and Phoebe, as I have developed an allergy towards them.
They're currently living in a double critter nation with plenty of wooden ledges, chew toys, wooden house etc, so I would like them to live in a similar sized cage with lots of enrichment for them! I would need to see a photo of the cage you intend to house them in.
Their double critter nation cage can be bought with them if needed (ledges etc not included!) However I would be asking full price (£200) for it as it is brand new and only been used for a couple of weeks.
Due to their thick fur Chinchillas are very sensitive to heat and must be kept in temperatures under 22° to avoid heat stroke, so you will need an air conditioning unit to keep them cool, I would need to see proof of an air con unit before rehoming them.
They're currently fed Unlimited hay, 2 table spoons each of science selective chinchilla nuggets, and occasionally a dried marigold flower, dandelion leaf etc, sugar treats and fresh vegetables MUST be avoided as it can make them very poorly.
Layla (the paler one) is very energetic and loves popcorning and zooming around the cage! Phoebe (standard grey) is more laid back and loves lounging around in her hammock And occasionally gets zoomies! They are both toilet trained, They must go together as they're well bonded.
They will leave with a bag of nuggets, a brand new bag of bathing dust, their dust bath container, hammock, water bottle, some of their chew toys, and lava ledge etc.
I will be keeping their wooden ledges and wooden house.
Please don't be surprised if I ask you a lot of questions, I will only be rehoming them to a good home. I am asking for £200 for the pair of them. Please message for any further information or questions.
