We are having to rehome our gorgeous little Lovebird. He’s roughly 3 years old & a very happy chirpy lad.
We’ve recently rehomed a dog and she won’t leave him alone and it’s not fair on him anymore. He is so sweet natured and I want to him to have the life he does really deserve. He enjoys having a good fly round the room and when he’s had enough he takes himself back in his cage. Every night he gets covered up at 10pm, if this isn’t done he really does let you know! 🤣
We have taken him to the pet shop about 3 times to get his beak trimmed and each time they’ve said he’s either a boy or a girl, so we are not 100%. Personally I do think he’s female as he loves a box and paper that he will shred and build a nest with. He will do this for hours and hours, it really stimulates him.
We did also buy him another lovebird to try and pair/bond with but he was having none of it and really tried to beat the poor thing up. Now I’m not saying with the right people and right approach he wouldnt bond, but we have tried.
He really would make a brilliant companion, for the right person who’s willing to spend time bonding with him and building his confidence.
He comes with 2 cages and a fair bit of food. Serious enquiries only please.
