Description

heshire based, winsford. 13,3 14 year old gelding With a very heavy heart i have made the heartbreaking decision to put marley up for sale. I bought him with the intention of sharing him with my 7 year old daughter but as her riding has progressed so quickly which is down to him and shes coming of lead rein he is proving to strong for her. We love him dearly and want him to go to the best home. He loves his hacking, will pop a little jump but is still quite green in the school due to being turned away for many years prior to us buying him. I simply dont have the time to put into him when i have another horse as well. We have had loading issues in the past but have worked with him with this and sometimes not an issue at all other times he takes a little encouragement to load. I would keep him in a heartbeat if he was just for me but as he is intended for my daughter i have to be realistic. Home is more important than price. When i bought him he was a different pony to what we have now, very overweight not ridden and has come on so much in the past 12 months. He was very head-shy and has nearly overcome this its only noticeable when putting the bridle over one ear. Ive had the vet check his poll and ears and nothing medically wrong its just learnt behaviour that is getting better all the time. This really isnt an easy sale. We have done shows, hacks, trips to delamere and whitegate and he is a saint he just isnt a first pony. We have had him in an open field and he goes as fast or as slow as you want when asked. He stood whilst my horse cantered off from him and not bothered in the slightest. He needs a lightweight adult or a confident child. Brilliant for the farrier but does need sedation to clip. Have so many videos and pictures please ask away any questions xx i am in no rush to sell as he is very loved so i will make sure he goes to the right home Carrots am open to reasonable offers so please get in touch can come with tack and rugs.
