It is with great sadness that we are looking to rehome our little dachshund.
Frank is a loving dog, but our home situation has changed which means he is spending so much time alone and it’s really not fair on him.
He love cuddles, long walks, play time and just being around you in general. He loves nothing more than sitting on your lap and will give you endless kisses. He has lived with our 2 young children who have both been under 5 around him but can be boisterous when playing.
Like a lot of dachshunds, Frank is very anxious and can be very unsure of strangers. It can take him a while to warm up, so when meeting Frank, it will take a few minutes for him to get used to you.
He likes other dogs and really enjoys playing with them, but is very vocal on walks or when he is on a lead.
He knows basic commands like sit, come, paw etc and is fully toilet trained but we really feel like he could do with some training to help with his anxiousness.
Frank has become part of our family, we have had him since he was 12 weeks old and this decision is purely based on what we think will be right for him. We feel with the right owners Frank would really flourish!
