Description

Luna has lived with us since August after being returned to the original breeder (my mum) by her first owner. Unfortunately our home environment and working schedules mean that we just cannot offer Luna the home she needs long term. She settled into our family immediately and we love her so much but she suffers with separation anxiety due to having never been left alone up until she came to live with us. She’s ok with another dog present as always lived with them previously, but with a small baby in the house, we cannot commit to a second dog. She is extremely loving and happy to lay at your feet all evening. She walks great on the lead with some slight pulling (having never been walked prior to coming to us) and is not reactive to other dogs whatsoever. She loves to play if they will allow, but specifically loves smaller dogs. She has always lived with cats, including ours which she occasionally tries to play with but besides that is fine with if not a little jealous when she’s on the sofa and Luna can’t be. She is fed a mixture of dry and wet food but nothing particular in her diet. Medical: Luna currently has an ear infection which is under treatment and should have cleared up before going to her new home. The vet has noted that her eyes do water which is possibly due to slightly turned in corners of her eyes but nothing to overly worry about. Her separation anxiety is currently under a training plan with a behaviouralist but my partner travels with work and once I finish maternity leave after Christmas, there will be multiple days a week where Luna is left alone which would be counter productive to her training but is also unavoidable. I’ve tried to be as transparent as possible with her history, but please ask any questions necessary. Lunas original documentation from being a pup can be provided by my mum and her parents both mum and dad still live with my mum. Lunas litter was the only litter that her mum Skye had and all very healthy.
