I’ve had Ridgebacks’s for 25 years and Mini (the Mother) is the best by far! She really is outstanding physically but also in temperament. So I bred simply because I want to keep a pup from her. She has amazed me yet again with how good a mother she is being. Now I have 9 strong healthy pups, 5 of whom are looking for responsible owners dedicated to their dogs and capable of caring for a Ridgebacks’s needs.
Which involves regular exercise first, responsible discipline and daily structure, good food, lots of love and a comfy place near their family to relax.
Ridgeback’s are Big very strong dogs so not suitable for owners who will not control and exercise them responsibly. However with care, attention and good training can be very rewarding dogs to own. They naturally look out for their pack (family) and have cautious guarding instincts. Mini and the father both have wonderful temperament with no aggression towards people or other dogs. Mini is calm and unfazed by different environments, crowds sporting events etc etc. Any other information will gladly be given upon request.
Now at over 2 weeks old all pups have grown beautifully. Mum is incredibly maternal and feeding them all herself. Eyes are open now and they are shakily walking. New pictures coming soon.
