Description
At just 16 months old, adorable Bertie is full of life, love and endless energy. He thrives on attention and cuddles and absolutely loves to play.
Bertie has been dearly loved in what was meant to be his forever home for the past 7 months. Sadly, his bouncy spirit is too much for the family’s elderly dog, so they’ve made the tough decision to find him a new home.
He's lived happily with another playful dog in foster, so he could be paired with a fun-loving canine friend or he would be happy in a home of his own. What he really needs is a family who can offer him plenty of exercise, stimulation and love.
A few things we adore about Bertie: His expressive eyes, his hilarious singing voice, and his lovely manners out and about. He’s got great recall, responds brilliantly to training, and any occasional reactivity has improved hugely. He also has a talent for fly ball and agility!
His current family is heartbroken, and we are working now to find Bertie the perfect home he truly deserves - one filled with love, fun, and lots of cuddles.
Bertie is so lovable. He is a funny, clever, playful, inquisitive boy who loves his toys and dens and is at his happiest with his family around him and getting cuddles, strokes and attention. He shows great empathy and is quick to notice if anybody needs cheering up. He is really the sweetest character.

He would do best in a home where he can be the only dog or with another dog that can keep up with him. 🐕
