📖 MY STORY
My name is OLAF. I'm a mix breed puppy. I was just starting out in life when I was hit by a car. The person in the car didn’t stop and just left me on the side of the road, not caring if I was badly hurt or whether I lived or died. I crawled away from the road as far as I could, until I was in some ferns. I lay there for days because I couldn't move any more. I was eventually found by a very kind lady who was walking by one day. She obviously did care, because she said she heard me crying, plus the cracking of some twigs, and then saw me, tiny and all soaking wet as I tried my hardest to crawl towards her. I had to drag both of my hind legs because they wouldnt work properly any more! I was shivering and hungry and felt so grateful when she picked me up and wrapped her coat around me. Later, that lovely lady took me to the vet, who told her that my back legs were both broken and that I needed surgery. I had these things called splints put on and a few weeks later they were taken off. I now feel so much better and now I would like a second chance to have a good life.
🌲🎁 I don't know what it feels like to "Enjoy the season" and to be given presents but, hopefully, next year I will. I do have a WISH though, which is to find another very kind person or family to look after me and keep me safe, so that I can thrive, grow and be happy without fear of any more pain or being abandoned again. L
