🚨 PLEASE HELP US SAVE MOZART – URGENT COMMITTED FOSTER NEEDED
📍 Peterborough, Some transport help might be arranged
(a fee stated here is adoption fee, doesn't apply for fostering)
Mozart arrived in England just two weeks ago, to what we truly believed would be his home. The journey alone was long and overwhelming, and he arrived deeply stressed, emotionally shut down and frightened. That in itself could have been managed — but unfortunately, he was not ready to cope with an active new world and a resident dog, even though that dog was small and friendly. Everything felt too much, too fast.
After a week, the family asked for him to leave. We tried desperately to find a foster or alternative home, but time was against us. The family did not want to wait and took Mozart to local kennels.
Four days in kennels nearly destroyed him. He barely moved there sitting in a conner looking into a wall. He refused to walk. He ate almost nothing.
Then a small miracle happened — a kind lady agreed to foster him. Transport was arranged. Mozart was finally moved out of kennels. But then the unthinkable happened again: the foster’s child was unexpectedly scheduled for surgery, and she could no longer take Mozart during this period.
Mozart is now at an emergency foster, but he can stay only until Saturday morning.
After that, he has nowhere to go. Kennels will not just set him back — they will break him. This is not dramatic wording. The last four days have already proven it.
💙 Mozart is just over a year old and lower-medium in size, standing softly below the knee. He is gentle, sensitive and emotionally now traumatised after trip, kennels, moving homes and everything WITHOUT ANY CHANSE to decompress! — a dog who craves safety and predictability and struggles when the world feels too pushy, rushed and uncertain.

• NEUTERED: Yes
• CHARACTER: Gentle • Sensitive • Submissive • People-oriented

🐾 More About Mozart
Before arrived in UK, Mozart was friendly and polite with people, though cautious at first until he understands he is safe. Once trust forms, his sweetness is unmistakable. He takes treats delicately from your hand, seeks reassurance rather than attention, and bonds deeply with one person.
He is clean in the house during the day and uses the garden well when given free access. What he struggles with is pressure and uncertainty. The outside world currently overwhelms him — he may freeze on walks and lie flat to the ground. This is not refusal or stubbornness; it is fear and ongoing decompression after extreme upheaval.
Repeated losses, sudden changes and fear have taken their toll. Right now, he might not cope with sharing his space with another dog and needs to feel safe before anything else.
Mozart needs peace, time, and patience. Even a week or two in the right environment can make a life-changing difference.
🏡 Ideal Home
Mozart urgently needs a truly committed, calm, dog-free foster or foster-to-adopt home. Not busy , not noise rural/half rural environment He needs a quiet corner of the world where nothing is demanded of him and where he can decompress safely.
This must be a patient, emotionally steady home — not one that rushes, panics or pushes. A real dog-lover’s home. A home willing to save him from the worst.
Busy households, multi-dog homes and high-traffic environments are not suitable.
If you can offer a committed foster home, even temporarily, you could change — and possibly save — his life.
🩺 Health Information
Mozart is fully healthy, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
All dogs are C.Brucella tested before travel (licensed laboratory certificate provided).
