Description
Adoption and re home of Two stunning half Domestic Shorthair, half Maine Coon, young healthy and very playful cats. Born 10th July 2023.
They do not have the long high maintenance hair of a Maine Coon but they have the colours, size, markings and dog-like personality of a Maine Coon. Kitten photo with mum attached. Three were long hair and these two short hair. My neighbour has their mum.
Jellybean is a mackerel tabby with white big boy. Incredible markings. Fur short but like pure silk. He’s a big solid lump! He’s a foodie.
Saffy is a dainty petty girl. Blue and white. Very pretty.
Their mum is a long haired Maine Coon. My neighbour has her. Dad unknown but must have short hair 😉 Ooops!
I adore them both but they can’t shine with big bossy uncles and other cats here. Multi cat household. They don’t get enough human interaction for cuddles, fuss and play as their uncles barge in. They adore dogs! Cat friendly dogs obviously but it is so sweet.
They use a catflap and roam outside. Must not live near a busy road. Not safe for any cat. They would love another semi-rural setting and will definitely sort any Mickey mice out! They are a lovely mixture of hardy happy to explore outdoors and clean playful pretty indoor lazy bones. They are not lap cats. They are highly intelligent. Know their names and run to you when called, like a dog.
They need an experience and patient cat person to help them settle in and learn to trust you. They are devoted to me but they do not like my daughter or children in general.
I have had them neutered, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, prescription worm and flea treatments. Vet checked at last vaccination and in excellent health.
They will be shy at first and need to be left alone while they settle in. They have very big personalities and need to shine in a household with no other cats. They will have a much better life without other cats taking the limelight. It’s their time to blossom if you can be patient until they take over your house and garden!
Please email explaining what you can offer them. I won’t let them go to just anyone. It would be brilliant if they were local but not essential.
I look forward to meeting another crazy cat person. They are ideal for someone who wants young cats but not the chaos of kittens or the huge expense of all the initial vet costs.
