Molly is a beautiful, energetic and intelligent 18-month-old Cocker Spaniel x Golden Retriever looking for her perfect forever home. She came to me at 4 months old as a rescue from abroad, and it’s been a joy watching her grow into the funny, loving girl she is today. Sadly, due to changes in my health and personal circumstances, I can no longer give her the lifestyle and attention she deserves.
She’s fully house trained, crate trained, and sleeps well at night. She knows her basic commands and is currently learning recall and heelwork. She lives with another dog and gets on really well at home — but out on walks, she can be reactive to unfamiliar dogs. She barks and pulls when anxious, so she needs someone confident and consistent who’s happy to continue her training. She’s very food motivated, clever, and eager to learn, which really helps.
Molly is full of energy and absolutely loves being outdoors — running, playing, chasing birds and squirrels, splashing in rivers. She would thrive in a home with lots of space to run or a working/farm-type environment. She’d also do really well with other friendly dogs she can learn from.
She’s fantastic with children but does get excitable, so I’d recommend a home with kids aged 7+. She hasn’t been cat tested.
Molly will leave with her crate, bedding, toys, leads, collars, food, and her favourite natural treats. I’m happy to arrange meet and greets or walks so you can get to know her.
This is a really difficult decision, but I want the very best for Molly. She’s a loving, smart girl with so much potential, and she deserves a home that can meet her needs and give her the life she truly deserves.
