An extremely sad and reluctant sale. Percy will not go to just anyone.
Percy is a typical cockatoo, loud and bonkers. But once he has bonded with you he is so unbelievably loving. Just wants to be with you 24/7, sitting on your shoulder. Once bonded you can really give him a close cuddle, he absolutely adores it. My health has deteriorated which means I can no longer give Percy what he truly deserves and needs. I really don’t want to rehome him but I just want what is best for him.
In the 9 years I have had him he has never been a huge fan of men. He has always preferred women. Absolutely adores all the attention on him and he would thrive being with someone who is at home a lot/works from home. He loves his fruit and vegetables, mainly sugar snap peas, blueberries, grapes, oranges, broccoli and a big lettuce leaf. He also loves cashew nuts and breaking into a whole walnut. He loves to have a cardboard box in the bottom of his cage so he can shred and build a nest. Can be hormonal so can be extra noisy like all birds during those times.
Please do not enquire if you are not prepared for Percy’s volume! He is a very loud boy! Loves to shout and dance. He mainly says “hello Percy, hello baby, what you doing, yeah, baby” but does have a chatter about, I have no idea what, also! He is such a funny boy there is never a dull moment with him.
He has lived with dogs and other birds. He has had on and off bouts of plucking during the years I’ve had him although I believe because of stress/hormones. Happy to answer any questions you may have about him, he is a very special boy and like I said above he will not be going to just anyone. Percy’s happiness is paramount.
