Beautiful Trio of Welsh Harlequin Ducks Available for Purchase – 1 Female & 2 Males
We have raised these 3 from eggs in an incubator, with the eggs purchased from a farm in Wales. They are just shedding their adolescent feathers and beginning to reveal their adult colours, so are ready to find their forever home. All 3 are extremely friendly and look for human company, as well as being very confident around our dog (perhaps too confident as they often peck her tail!) They are healthy, active and well cared for.
ABOUT THE BREED:
Welsh harlequins are a wonderful breed of duck, known for their calm nature, attractive markings, and excellent foraging ability. They are quiet, friendly and cannot fly much higher than a foot off the ground. They make a charming addition to a smallholding, garden flock, or as ornamental birds.
The females produce up to 330 stunning pale eggs per year, while the drakes are striking with their classic Harlequin colouring and gentle nature. The expected life span is 8-10 years. They are currently 2-3 months old - hatched 1st June 2025.
Ideally, they will go together as a trio to a good home where they will have space to roam safely.
