Meet Tyson, a 6 year old American Bulldog X British bulldog who is looking for a special place to call home 🏡 Tyson is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped He’s a big boy, weighing in at around 46kg, with an even bigger heart ❤️
Tyson came under the care of PPTF when he was on Red Alert at the Pound and was scheduled to be PTS 🚨 We know very little of his life beforehand but he was lucky to find a family, a place to call home where he has been able to find his paws 🐾 Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, Tyson came back into our care as a foster dog where he has settled beautifully and is now ok the lookout for his forever home 🏡
Tyson lives up to his moniker and is a big, strong boy 💪🏼 He settled well into his previous home and needs an experienced owner who can handle his strength and set clear boundaries with him 🐶 He absolutely loves human company and is very affectionate and loving, his enthusiasm is second to none so he does need a reminder of his manners from time to time!
Tyson is house trained and is good at being left alone for periods of up to four hours. But any alone time would need to be built up over time. ⭐️ 🥰 He sleeps well overnight and he loves being tucked jn for bed each night before he goes to sleep 💤
Tyson can live with medium/larger sized dogs with slow, sensible introductions 🐶
He cannot live with cats or other small furries 🐱 Tyson has previously welcomed visitors from age 5 into the family home but it is felt due to his size and bouncy nature he would be best suited to living with older, teenage children 👦🏻
Tyson walks well, he accepts a collar and lead and also currently wears a head collar as he can be a little too excitable when out and about 🐕 He enjoys meeting new people but has a bit of a stubborn streak so some further training wouldn’t go amiss!
He enjoys having visitors round, playing with his toys and going for trips in the car 🚘 He sits very nicely, looking out of the window until he reaches his destination 🏖️
Tyson is a real “knockout” boy with a larger than life personality 💙 He would would love nothing more than the chance to be part of a family again 🥰
