Bruno is a 18m old border collie who is a very loving dog and very clever he knows basic commands when he feels like listening 😆 and when isolated has good recall when alone with no distractinons
however he has quite a strong herding instinct and reactivity to most things mainly dogs mostly because he has not been socialised with other dogs he doesn't show aggression just hyper excitement but this leads to other dogs being startled and barking and lunging.
At home he is from a home with 2 children 6 and 9 and loves them and will play all day does get a bit nippy when exited but no malice just plays rough !!
He is toilet trained but does have some accidents as doesn't have a bark tell just wanders to the door
He is good with all people also has been castrated recently so no worries there
Upto date with all jabs and treatments too.
It is a very reluctant and with a very heavy heart I am listing him as we have had him since 7 weeks old but unfortunately we need to move house for more bedrooms but cannot guarantee room for garden space etc and also landlords seem to have taken offence to any dog that doesnt fit in a handbag !!!
Also I feel he needs someone with more time to train him and give him the time and attention he needs ideally someone who knows the breed as he is not a first time dog !!! And someone who loves walking the fields as he loves that as he is not good in big crowds of people and animals
Please be aware i will NOT let him go to just anyone and I will be checking homes etc to make sure a good fit is found
