Hello there! I’m Ted, a ridiculously charming, outrageously good-looking Caique parrot – and I’m currently accepting applications for new human staff.
Now, don’t get me wrong, my current humans are lovely. They feed me, tell me I’m pretty (because I am), and laugh at my jokes. BUT... there's one small issue...
They also have an Amazon parrot.
A big, bossy green lump of feathers who thinks he’s royalty. Pfft.
Long story short: we don’t get along. There’s drama. There’s tension. There’s squawking. It’s like a birdie soap opera and trust me – I’m not the villain, I’m just passionately territorial.
Only one of us can be out of the cage at a time, and frankly – I deserve better.
So, I’m now looking for a new home where I can be the ONLY parrot (or maybe live with another fabulous Caique like myself – we’re an elite breed). I need more freedom, more play stand time, and less green feathered rivalry.
Here’s what I offer you in return:
I’m super gentle – no bites, no tantrums (unless you're a banana trying to replace my grapes).
I’m a lover of attention – chats, dances, scritches... bring it on.
I get along famously with both men and women – I’m not picky, just fabulous.
I don’t eat your furniture – I’m house proud.
I spend most of my day on my play stand – I’m basically the living room supervisor.
I’ve been DNA tested – I’m a certified handsome male.
I have my official bird ID ring – classy and traceable.
