Description
Ollie was found completely alone — without a mother, brothers or sisters, and without any form of safety — and ended up in a shelter as a very young puppy. To comfort him, he was placed with other orphaned puppies, but even with companionship, the shelter is overwhelming for a sensitive boy like him. He urgently needs a home where he can rest, feel safe, and finally learn that the world can also be kind.
🔍 Appearance & possible mix:
Based on his appearance alone, Ollie could be a mix of a Parson Jack Russell (tricolor), combined with influences of a shepherd or collie. His slim, athletic build, tricolour coat, and soft, expressive eyes make him a particularly charming young dog. As with all rescued puppies, his exact mix is unknown.
He is a small to medium-sized dog, approximately 40–45 cm at the shoulder (can be measured on request).
💛 Personality:
Ollie is a sweet, cheerful, and gentle dog. Once he gets to know you, he blossoms beautifully — affectionate, loyal, and full of love. Because he grew up in a shelter from a young age, the world is still big and new to him. He needs some time to socialise, build trust, and understand that the people around him are safe.
He thrives with people who do not rush him, who let him move at his own pace, and who guide him with calmness and kindness throughout his learning process.
He gets along very well with other dogs. A stable canine companion would be nice, but it is not necessary if his adopters have enough time and patience for him.
🏡 Ideal home:
• A calm household without very young children
• A securely fenced garden so he can safely relieve himself and explore the world at first
• Adopters who will gently and step by step guide him with:
– wearing a harness
– learning to walk on a lead
– discovering the world
• People with time, love, and patience who can help him build confidence
With the right care, Ollie will grow into the loving, loyal companion he so deeply wants to be.
💌 Friends InDeed Animal Rescue – Adoption Information
Friends InDeed is a registered charity, and a home check (online if needed) is required for every adoption. We place our dogs only with genuine dog lovers who have a private garden and no children under the age of 10. Our dogs are family companions — not working, therapy, or assistance dogs. We stay in touch after adoption to provide support.
We can best be contacted by phone or WhatsApp, and we can arrange a video call if you would like to meet Ollie “in real life.”
We are a transparent rescue organisation actively involved in spay/neuter programmes and in finding permanent, loving homes. Adoption fees or donations may vary depending on circumstances. We can provide references from over 500 families we have helped.
⚠️ Due to the large number of messages we receive, we kindly ask that only serious enquiries be sent.
Warm regards,
