This is sassy she is a 4-5 year old cross staff/ jack russel. She showed up at our door around 4 days ago completely malnourished and homeless. She was micro chipped so took her a vets but unfortunately her owner was sectioned due to mental health issues. We have been told she has been abused physically and been on the streets for over a week. Her life from what we have been told has been a massive struggle of abuse and sadness 😔 I only wish that my family could give her that forever loving home but unfortunately I have a new puppy rotweiller and 3 cats which she doesn't exactly get on with so well especially the cats. She is so gentle loving and really affectionate but I cant have any more animals. The dog Warden took her and told me that if she wasn't taken in 7 days she'd be put to sleep 😪 so we went and got her to try find her a home. Its just such a sad situation and it's broke my heart and just want someone to just love her and get her back ro her normal weight after God knows how old she has been under fed for. I can't express how loving she is but I won't lie she isn't good with cats and has nipped at my torweiller puppy a few times but only when she is sleeping or lying down. When she's walking round the house she is fine and playing with her. So I'm thinking she was either bred too much or traumatised from something whilst sleeping or resting. This dog has been hit because she is so scared when she is corrected or told not to do something. She cowers and squints her eyes. Please if someone is out there that has the perfect life for sassy and can assure me that they can. I don't want money I just want her to have a loving home.
