For two long years, Keira, a 5-year-old Kangal cross, sat quietly in a concrete cell in an overcrowded shelter in Cyprus. Skin and bones… no name, no comfort, no hope. Just another big dog nobody noticed….nobody wants..
She was just surviving. Not living.
Found as a stray on the outskirts of Nicosia, we’ll never know what pain brought her to the streets. What we do know is that this gentle giant, weighing 50kg, never stopped believing in love — even when the world gave her every reason to stop.
