READY NOW due to folks change of circumstance, two super Standard size puppies, Male and Female.
For full information please visit our website bordercolloodles.com
SHAMWARI FAMILY FRIENDS are the premier quality breeders of this wonderful cross breed.
Taking Bookings taken for our next litter which will be miniature size, they are due to be born around the 22nd June.
We already have several deposits, so Don't miss out.
Unique bundles of fluff, joy and energy.
The Standard Bordoodle are similar to the Labrdoodle, but because of the Border collie influence are much more active and CLEVER, faster and more agile.
Are you ready for the most amazing cross breed?
Do we give it a name? or is it simply a cross breed?
Whatever you feel, these dogs are simply a cross between the Border Collie and the Poodle (all sizes)
To you they may be Bordoodles, or Borderdoodles, or Borderpoo.
We call the cross Border Coll-oodles.
Our parents have been carefully selected for temperament, looks and above all health.
Our aim is to produce highly trainable, Healthy Pets for folks specifically wanting fluff (long hair), unusual colours and patterns, great character, extraordinary brains, agility and energy.
Hybrid Vigour (Increased vigor or other superior qualities arising from the crossbreeding of genetically different plants or animals) because of genetic diversity this usually produces a progeny which is healthier and stronger than either purebred parent, but it only really works for just one generation so only in the first cross.
Hybrid Vigour is proven to work and is used extensively in the livestock and plant breeding industries so why not for your next Pet Dog?
To help Hybrid Vigour we have ensured that both purebred parents have been fully DNA health tested for the diseases which regularly affect each breed and can
guarantee that our SHAMWARI Border Coll-oodle's
will never be affected by diseases such as
Von Willebrand Type 1,
Malignant hyperthermia.
Our puppies are reared using a combination of scientifically proven programs like Puppy Culture and Avidog.
The pups are born in the house, handled daily since birth to leaving home, our method has worked successfully for us for over 30 years breeding Border collies and Poodles.
Every one of these special cross bred dogs is different to look at, but they all have wonderful sparkling natures, being extremely clever dogs they are not for the average pet owner looking for a "cuddly couch potato".
These dogs have the most amazing brains taken from their parents, the sire is either a Standard or Miniature Poodle (very occasionally we do the Toy size). the poodle is famed for its ability to be a loyal companion, with a cheeky character, full of beans and alert, capable of being taught tricks, and the mother is always a Border collie, the world's most intelligent breed, a dog developed for centuries by shepherds as his working companion, a breed famed for its ability to think for itself and find solutions for the safety of the flock whilst out of sight and sound of the shepherds instruction, a breed with enormous stamina, tenacity and agility, all the while being highly trainable, but with the downside of being able to train its unwitting owners equally well.
Do you have what it takes to handle this fluffy package of potential Einstein?
Do you have the time to stimulate these dogs' brains?
Do you have the knowledge to be one step ahead of their reasoning powers?
Perhaps you want to do Dog Agility or Obedience?
These dogs are highly suitable for training as a service dog for the active special needs person, as a medic alert dog or emotional support dog, even as an amazing search and rescue dog, or household helper, hearing alert dog etc?
Do you have the energy to keep up with their speed and agility and never ending demand to make things move?
(We do select for the "off switch" in the Border collie mothers to help you keep up)
Can you either regularly groom and trim this dog yourself or afford to take him/her to the grooming parlour every 6 to 8 weeks?
Please note that we cannot guarantee (nobody can) if this pup will by Hypoallergenic (not trigger allergy reactions).
This crossbreed does shed far less than a border collie would, but it can still shed unless you regularly groom.
Our SHAMWARI pups are regularly dewormed, the mother fully vaccinated, and the pups have their first vaccination at 6- 7 weeks with VERSICAN well documented to provide some immunity in the presence of Maternal Antibodies, therefore speeding up the process to get your pup out and about in the big wide world much quicker than other vaccines.
Pups are vet checked and available to go to new homes at 8 weeks with four weeks free insurance and a puppy pack which includes loads of advice and training videos'.
We offer a lifetime back up to help you with training and health advice which includes an extensive 18 plus page Puppy Instruction Manual.
We also want you to bring your dog back to us if your circumstances change and you are unable to keep the dog, no matter what the age, we will help you re-home your dog.
We have been involved with breeding Race Horses, Cattle, Sheep, for 45 years and purebred working dogs and poodles for 30 plus years, we have numerous owners all around the world, many of whom have come back to us repeatedly (some up to 10 times) for their next dog.
Well reared and health tested puppies with dedicated lifetime support are not dime a dozen.
Prices start from £3000.00 for full details check our detailed website.
Please note we have an application process we do not sell on messages or text or phone calls.

Puppy/Dog Adoption Checklist

Before contacting or visiting the advertiser for this Mixed Breed. Please make sure you have printed and read this checklist fully. Do NOT buy a dog or puppy from the advertiser unless you are happy that they follow all the advice on the list. If you have any concerns, report them to us.

  • Do your research first
Getting a new dog or puppy is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched the breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the dog. You can read our detailed Information guide about dogs for potential new dog owners.
  • Confirm that the advertiser is genuine
You should verify this by arranging to visit the dog or puppy at the advertisers home, if they make excuses or try to ask for money or a deposit to be paid online without visiting the dog at their home, or if the advertiser attempts to deliver the puppies or meet you at any other location than their own home, then please do not agree to this. NEVER pay for a dog or send money as a deposit without visiting and seeing the dog at its home beforehand. Please read our article on avoiding potential scams.

Pets4Homes do not verify that all advertisers are genuine, so you must make sure you visit the advertiser at their home to confirm yourself. If you are unsure that the advertiser is genuine, please report them to us.
  • Can the puppies be viewed with their Mother?
The advertiser should ALWAYS let you see the puppies with their mother, and in certain circumstances should let you see the puppies father. Not being able to see the puppies mother is a sign the puppies have not been bred by the advertiser and possibly imported. If the advertiser makes excuses why you cannot see the puppies mum, please walk away and report them to us. Pets4Homes do not allow the third party sale of puppies. All litters of puppies advertised, MUST have been bred by the advertiser.
  • Is the Puppy over 8 Weeks of age?
Puppies must be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned before they can leave their mothers. Most responsible sellers will keep their puppies longer than this before they let them go to new homes. Read further information on the minimum age puppies should be before leaving their mothers
  • Is the puppy/dog Microchipped ?
From April 6th 2016 it will be required by law that all dog over 8 weeks of age are microchipped and that the keepers details registered against them are kept up to date. The breeder is responsible for microchipping the puppies and must have their details registered on the microchip database first. Please check to make sure you receive the microchip documentation with chip number BEFORE taking the dog or puppy home and then arrange to transfer the microchip in to your own name. (More Info)
  • Check the Health of the Puppy or Dog
It can be difficult for the average person to check if a dog or puppy is healthy or not, so if you decide to adopt or buy the puppy, make sure that the seller agrees that you can return them within 48 hours for a full refund after taking the dog or puppy to a Vet of your choice for a health check. The seller should be willing to let you do this. If the puppy has already been health checked by their own vet, make sure you get evidence for this in the form of vet records and phone their vet to confirm this.
  • Is the puppy or dog up to date with their vaccinations?
Puppies should receive 2 vaccinations, the first at around 8 to 10 weeks of age and the second, two weeks later at around 10 to 12 weeks of age. Older Dogs require booster vaccinations occasionally as recommended by their Vet. Ask the breeder which vaccinations they have had and if not, why not. Puppies should have at least had their first set of vaccinations before they leave. If the seller has not started the puppies vaccinations, it will be your responsibility to make sure you arrange both vaccinations 7 days before letting your puppy go outside. (More Info)
  • Have the puppies been treated for worms and fleas?
Puppies should really be wormed at around 2 weeks of age, and again at around 5 weeks of age, and finally just before they leave the seller/breeder at 8 to 12 weeks of age.
  • Ask questions about puppies mother (and father)
Ask how many litters the mother has had and how old she is, she should be at least 1.5 years old. Ask about her temperament. Ask if the parents have any health issues and if they have been tested for common health issues known in their breed. The advertiser should be willing to tell you all about the puppies parents.
  • Is the dog/puppy registered with the kennel club?
If they are, then check to make sure you are given the correct kennel club documents BEFORE you decide to take the dog home. It may also be worth phoning the kennel club to check the information provided is correct.
  • Have the puppies been socialised ?
Make sure that puppies have been socialised from a very early age and are raised in a home environment, have interacted with their litter mates and are used to people, children and general household life. Puppies that haven't been raised in a home environment may develop behavioural issues, have temperamental problems, be difficult to housetrain and find adjusting to family life hard.
