Description
I am a 19 year old student who is unemployed, soon to be heading to university. I have had my dear Melly for 5 years (since I was 14), and never had any problems up until recently when we moved her to a new viv. She has recently undergone and recovered from treatment for parasites, which should now be clear, however she lost a lot of weight which she's been putting back on. I spent all of my money I have on her treatment with no more to spend. She now seems to have developed mouth rot, and I am absolutely devastated to see her suffering like this-- I know my parents won't have her treated while I am away, as they told me to just let her die when she had the parasites and I made the choice to spend all of my money on her. As sad as I am, I so want my baby to get better so I am willing to surrender her to somebody who will be able to get her the treatment she needs.
Her name is Melly, she is an adult cornsnake and roughly 6 years. She has, up until now, never struggled with her health like this, and has such a lovely personality. She is fine with being handled and has never bitten, and eats perfectly well.
