My name is Roux and I live in Colchester, UK. I am looking for a new home where I can be an only cat. Here is my story:
You might know me as Sage. I was born in May 2020 so that makes me 5 years and 5 months old. I have a microchip ID, had all my jabs, been spayed and also tested FIV/felv negative. I am a super healthy girl.
I was found by a lady in Qatar, together with my mum Petunia and brother Parsley. We were living in a plant pot outside a restaurant in one of the busiest areas in Doha. Parsley and I were so young that our eyes were still closed. Our mum had badly infected eyes and she really needed some urgent vet attention. So when our guardian angel stepped in and found us a safe space, we were over the moon!
When I was about a year old, in April 2021, I left Qatar to become a UK kitizen. I went to live with my furever furrmily in Colchester. It was truly my dream come true and I thought I would be happy furever. I loved my feline brother Todd. We had such fantastic times playing, cuddling and giving each other proper baths. Our purrents were wonderful and we spent loads of time cuddling them and sharing their space.
But well, all good things must come to an end. After 4 and a half years of happy times, Todd left me to cross the rainbow bridge. I am utterly heartbroken. I do not get along with my other feline siblings. Todd was the exception and I miss him.
My purrents have let me have a little private space in the house so I can all live in peace from the other cats. But I don’t want to live in a room all my life. I am only 5 years old and I still have many more years of life ahead of me. My furrmily and I have had some long and hard discussions about this and we all agreed that I would be happiest in a home where I am the only cat.
I would love to find a new home. I live only indoor or somewhere with very safe outdoor space so there is no chance I could escape and explore. I have never been outside so however tempting the outside world is, I am not equipped to cope with all the potential dangers.
My mamma says I am the most loving and affectionate kitty. I love cuddles and strokes. I love bird and squirrel watching from the window or catio. And if you have some shoe laces, I am all yours! I am super good at playing fetch.
