Billie is a mini daschund that we bought in January 2024, all we knew was we were her 3rd home but we don't know much about her in terms of past experiences, age amd have no paper work for her. The vet thinks approx 5 years old. She has has been neutered in our care, is up-to-date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatment.
Sadly we are looking to find her a new home as we feel she would benefit in living somewhere quieter and with less going on. Ideally would suit someone who is home most of the time and can dedicate full time attention to her. We think she may have been abused or neglected in her previous home as she is very anxious, barks a lot and despite knowing to do her business outside, will still regularly do both inside if she doesn't want to go outside or gets nervous.
She will walk fine on a lead but only likes going out once a week max and refuses to walk if you try any more than that! She is crate trained now and that has helped greatly with her behaviour. Majority of the time she wraps herself in blankets on the sofa or is outside sunbathing so is a chill dog but living on a busy road and having cats she gets very vocal about people walking pasted the house or the cats coming downstairs. She has no signs of aggression and is very patient with children.
We want to make sure she goes to a good home who has the right environment for her. She will come with her crate, snufflemat, slow feeder bowl, likimat and toys. Please feel free to message any questions, thanks.
