Description
We are gutted to have to put our female grey rabbit Peach up for adoption. We have an elderly cat who has become more and more stressed with having Peach around to the point the stress is affecting his health. We don’t have the funds to create a safe outdoor space for her and don’t have room in the house for an indoor enclosure.
Peach is 10 months old and we adopted her from pets at home rehoming in June this year. She’s been a house rabbit with us so far and has got along well with our other cats. In her previous home she lived as a pair with another female but they didn’t get along. Bonding with another rabbit could be possible in the future but we haven’t got around to trying.
She’s a friendly rabbit who just likes her own space; she’s not keen on being picked up which is perfectly understandable but she’s never been violent towards us or the cats. She loves toys and playing; stacking cups, chew toys, finding treats etc.
She is neutered and vaccinated as of September this year, she’s also had her microchip that I haven’t yet got around to registering so I can pass those details over to the potential adopter.
We’d like her to go to a loving home, and we’re sure she’ll be happy with understanding children (eg don’t expect her to act like a teddy bear!).
