ARTHUR IS IN THE CARE OF LURCHER LINK RESCUE
Arthur is an 18-month-old male collie lurcher. He came into rescue due to his owner being made homeless.
💚Arthur is 26” to the shoulder and weighs 25kg

âś…Good with other dogs and has previously lived with other dogs
âś…Knows some commands - sit, come, leave it
âś…Very affectionate.
Arthur appears not to have had much experience of the world before coming into rescue, and was very frightened when he first arrived in kennels. He’s now living in the Lurcher Link Headquarters house, and is now really confident indoors. He’s still a little nervous out on walks and with strange people but definitely improving
Arthur is getting used to travelling in the car - he doesn’t really like it much but isn’t as scared as when he first arrived.
‼Arthur doesn’t appear to have much experience of walking on a lead prior to arriving in rescue and does pull at times.
‼Arthur will require new owners who are prepared to take time to help Arthur build his confidence and introducing him slowly to new experiences etc.
Arthur suffered from “happy tail” while in kennels (he kept splitting his tail and causing it to bleed profusely), so had to have some of it amputated, hence the short tail. This is now fully healed.
