Penny’s life almost ended before it began.
She was one of 12 innocent puppies crammed into the back of a catcher’s car, being transported from a small rural town to the city — for euthanasia. No one wanted them. No one planned for them. They were just more “unwanted mouths” born into a world with no space and no mercy.
But fate intervened.
We took them directly from that car — just in time.
Only 9 of the 12 puppies survived. Penny was one of them.
More importantly: Penny is affectionate, gentle, and full of love.
Despite how close she came to losing everything, she trusts. She gives. She hopes.

Penny has grown into a graceful, gentle young dog — a soft-hearted girl with the soul of a companion.
She’s not loud or wild.
She comes closer slowly, like she’s asking permission.
But once she knows she’s safe, she blossoms — affectionate, cheerful, and quietly joyful. The kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the center of attention… she just needs to be loved.
She’ll watch the rain from the window with you. Follow you around the house like a little shadow. Curl up near your feet, just happy to belong.
